The Store: Baylor's On-Campus Food Pantry
Where is The Store?
The Store is Baylor University's on-campus food pantry. It is located at room 043 in the Sid Richardson Building and is open from Monday - Friday from 8am until 5pm.
What kinds of things can I get at The Store?
The Store stocks groceries like fruits, vegetables, bread, milk, cheese, lunch meats, peanut butter, jelly, rice, pasta, pasta sauce, canned foods, ready-to-eat meals, cereal, granola bars and more. We also stock personal hygiene and cleaning products.
Is The Store for students 'like me'?
Most Baylor students are concerned that their need isn't 'severe enough', or they feel ashamed to be struggling with hunger at a university like Baylor. We want to assure you that you are not alone, that if you're skipping meals, limiting your portions, needing to choose unhealthy options to feel full, or are needing to choose between paying rent, buying textbooks, paying an emergency bill, or if you are experiencing hunger for any reason, then The Store exists for you.
Every Baylor student should have access to three meals a day.
How do I gain access to The Store?
All Baylor students are eligible to make use of the Store as often as they need to, all you need to do is complete the intake form and within 1 working day you will receive an email to your Baylor email address, notifying you that you can use your Baylor ID card to swipe yourself into The Store when you need to.
If your need is urgent, or if you need help with the intake process, you can come straight down to the SOAR offices during office hours, and we will make sure you get what you need.
Our intake process is now digital, to fill out an intake form please click here.
