Campus Closet: Professional Attire Program
Baylor University’s Student Opportunity and Achievement Resources (SOAR) is committed to holistically supporting students facing financial barriers, through a variety of interconnected services and resources. For students experiencing challenges meeting their most basic needs, not having the resources required to purchase professional attire for attending job interviews could become an obstacle to them breaking out of their circumstances and into the new life they have worked hard to achieve. One of the most impactful forms of support is supplying the resources required to take advantage of opportunities to leverage their skills, talent, determination, and the world-class education they have received at Baylor within the job market.
Baylor’s Campus Closet: Professional Attire Program is a resource that will provide students who need it, with the ability to apply for one free full professional-wear outfit (blazer, pant, skirt, shirt, etc.) that they can keep and use for interviews as they prepare to enter the job market and graduate school. Our on-site showroom consists of a limited inventory, in diverse sizes and basic color palette. We are committed to providing Baylor students a loving, dignified, empowering experience, consistent with the excellence and generosity that has become synonymous with Baylor University.
